Discount is for immediate family members, including legal
guardianship. Teachers, Observers and One-day Students do not
qualify for the discount. Discount for workshop tuition only.
Copies of the students photo IDs must be included with the Family
Discount Registration form. Accepted forms of ID are: passport,
state ID, driver’s license, school, library and sport IDs. IDs must
include a photo of the student and we must be able to clearly
identify the dancer in the photo. |

Registration |
|
|
|

2. |
Two-day Students can
register any time. To receive a tuition discount, registration and
fees must be postmarked no later than 4 weeks before the workshop. |
|
|
|
3. |
One-day Students can
register at any time. There is one rate only. One-day Students are
not eligible for the Competition, Showcase or Scholarship.
|
|
|
|
4. |
Ages 6 years of age and over. |
|
|
|
5. |
For dancers under the age
of 10, please provide a copy of their birth certificate with
registration. |
|
|
|
6. |
Students under the age of
15 must be accompanied by a chaperone or group chaperone. |
|
|
|
7. |
To register as an
Assistant Teacher dancers must be at least 15 years of age.
|
|
|
|
8. |
Students may participate
only in the level that they are registered. Level changes can be
made within the first two classes of the workshop only. An
additional tuition fee is charged for upgrades. Tuition refunds are
not provided when changing to lower level. |
|
|
|
9. |
Observer registration
includes viewing the student classes and one or both Observer class
and forum. Observers must be associated with a registered student
or studio. Observers may not participate in class or take notes at
any time, including Teacher classes or the auditions. |
|
|
|
10. |
Workshop fees are
non-refundable except for reasons due to severe illness, death or
unforeseen acts of nature. Fees are refunded only when notified
prior to or at the event and with the proper medical or legal
documentation received no later than one week after the event. Call
for details. LADF reserves the right to refuse refunds. Returned
check service fee $25. |

|

LADF is a private event.
ID wristbands must be worn at all times. Registration is valid when
ID wristband is being worn and is intact. A fee (from $5 to the
total tuition) may be charged for wristbands that have been removed
or damaged. |
|
|
|
Scholarship Audition |
|
|
|
1.
|
Beginning
through advanced dancers and
Assistant Teachers
may audition. Professional dancers and teachers are not eligible. A
professional is considered anyone that receives 50% of their income
from dance services. |
|
|
|
2.
|
You must be
registered for the entire workshop and audition in the level you are
registered. Assistant Teachers audition in the advanced level.
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Scholarship
recipients may not receive the same award within two consecutive
tours. |
|
|
|
4.
|
The
audition is closed to ALL OBSERVERS except those students registered
in that level. |
|
|
|
PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND INTERNET
|
|
|
|
1. |
Photography, video and audio
recording is restricted and prohibited. Violations may result in the
removal from the event, including the confiscation and deletion of
film and digital memory. |
|
|
|
2. |
The Opening and Closing Ceremonies,
audition combinations, and all classes are prohibited from being
photographed or filmed, and may not be published or posted on the
internet, or in any other manner. |
|
|
|
3. |
The scholarship audition combinations
are intended to be “unseen”. To select our national scholarship
awards the same combination is given at each event to compare the
dancers on a national level. The audition combinations cannot be
posted on the internet at any time. |
|
|
|
4. |
Photography, without a flash, is
allowed during the Competition and Showcase only, unless otherwise
posted at the event or instructed by LADF. |
|
|
|
5. |
Schools, Performance Groups and
Independent Performers who are entered in the Competition and
Showcase, may register one person to film their performances,
exclusively from our video platform. Conditions and restrictions
apply. See Video Registration form for details. All other video
taping is prohibited. |
|
|
|
6. |
Competition and Showcase photography
and performances that are properly registered and authorized may be
posted on the internet at the discretion of the School, Performance
Group or Independent Performer. |
|
|
|
7. |
By
registering, you grant LADF the right to use your image. LADF may
film and photograph the entire event and post on the internet or use
in any other manner. |
|
|
|
Safety and Other |
|
|
|
1. |
Please report all accidents and
injuries to an LADF Manager immediately; or use the nearest hotel
courtesy phone to reach a hotel operator and assistance. |
|
|
|
2. |
Please wear shoes while in the
classrooms. |
|
|
|
3. |
Dancing is allowed in classrooms
and performance theatre only. No dancing in lobbies or halls. |
|
|
|
4. |
No gymnastics in classrooms or
halls. |
|
|
|
5. |
Do not wear tap shoes outside of
the classrooms or competition area. |
|
|
|
6. |
Food,
smoking, and alcohol
are prohibited in the classrooms,
performance theatre and contestant areas. |
|
|
|
7. |
Misconduct
and excess noise away from the dance area is not permitted and can
be cause for removal from the event. |
|
|
|
Liability Disclaimer |
|
|
|
L.A.
DANCEFORCE and the instructors are not liable for personal injuries
or loss of, or damage to personal property
for any and all
registrants. By registering, all participants confirm that they are
aware of and understand the nature of the event, as well as safety
and other policies and conditions. Each
student may decline to participate in any activity. Please inform
instructor of any physical limitation you may have. If you have any
doubt as to your physical abilities, please consult with your
physician before participating. L.A. DANCEFORCE cannot dispense
aspirin and other medication. The registered participants and
signatory on their behalf release and hold harmless L.A. DanceForce,
Inc., EDGE Performing Arts Center, The Master Series for any and all
claims, losses and suits. |
