This national award is the ultimate
summer dance intensive and performance award and is a chance of a
life time experience to be submerged in the Los Angeles dance world. |
|

At the conclusion of each event the
three recipients of the 4-week EDGE scholarship are filmed at the
closing ceremony performing a jazz combination. Upon completion of
the tour, a panel of judges will choose 7 dancers out of the 45
contestants to be the Dance with the Force ensemble. |

The award includes: |

Round trip transportation. |
|
|
|
|
Free classes at EDGE for the months of
June, July
and August. |
|
|
|
|
Rehearsals with prominent
choreographers. |
|
|
|
|
Performing three nights at the EDGE
show as the Dance with the Force Ensemble. Be seen by the L.A. dance
community, choreographers, producers, directors and agents. |

|
|
|
A photo session with a leading L.A.
photographer and copies of your photos. |
|
|
|
|
Universal Studios preferred passes. |
|
|
|
|
The exclusive Dance with the Force
jacket. |

|

|
Special closing luncheon. |

The award is announced April 18, 2008.
Complete information packets are express delivered to each recipient
and alternate. The recipients must accept the award by May 9, 2008.
Should one of the recipients become unable to accept the award one
of the four alternates will be notified. The following calendar
provides a general outline of the acceptance dates and time
requirements of the program. |
