The College Scholarship was established to provide dancers who attend LADF events with tuition scholarships for study of any subject at an accredited United States college or university. The award gives LADF dancers the opportunity to use their dance abilities and their scholastic achievements to be eligible to receive this scholarship award. Up to two dancers per year are eligible to receive the award.

The award is for tuition only and divided by semester or trimester as defined by the recipient’s school year. The maximum award paid in one school-year is $1,500. The award is paid directly to the college or university. The recipient is required to maintain a 3.0 GPA. To receive each installment they must submit a payment request form with their progress report and any other requested information at each interval. To apply, the applicant must attend a 0708 LADF event and submit an application with supporting materials and dance demonstration DVD by mail no later than Friday, April 18, 2008. Applications and other materials are not accepted via the internet. Status inquiries can be made by e-mail or mail.
